I loved The Serial Killer’s Diet Book by Kevin Postupack. I found myself laughing and crying throughout. I didn’t want to put it down, but found myself purposefully waiting to finish it because it was so good I did not want it to end! I was touched by Kevin’s ability to discuss matters of the heart and soul. He made me think about my own life and choices I make about being true to myself. I felt he was speaking to everyone in their struggle to find meaning in their lives and how hard (and absurd) life can be at times. To cover this intense subject matter in a satirical way shows mastery of his writing craft. It is a work of literature to read through the ages.

This book is absolutely tremendous. Postupack is a gifted writer. This book should be taught in literary classes in college or advanced placement English in high school.
It’s both humorous and thought provoking. Without question, this is one of the more substantial books I have ever read — certainly, since college. I can’t deny the fact I had to look up words and some historical references. Postupack appears to be much smarter than the average bear.
I can’t help but believe that this book will someday be considered a literary masterpiece.

The Serial Killer’s Diet Book is so rich, one could use it to study human behavior, history, philosophy, or spirituality. But despite the abundant opportunities to learn, the reader can opt to relax and enjoy the story if that is his or her preferred style. This book is engaging and easy to read.
